Horticulture covers three kinds of grower, and you tell Grovabe which you are: cut flowers (roses, tulips, dahlias — stems cut and graded), foliage & herbs (basil, mint, eucalyptus — leaves and sprigs harvested), or houseplants & nursery (monstera, pothos — tracked for health, not harvest). Each gets its own fields, its own reference data, and an AI report on how it's doing every Monday.
Whichever you are, Grovabe fits the fields to it
Pick your purpose when you set up an operation, and the data-entry form, the detail page and the reference data all follow suit — no rose grower is asked for a "watering in ml", and no houseplant keeper is asked for a grade A/B split.
Cut flowers
Roses, tulips, dahlias and more — stems cut, grade A/B counts, average stem length and active buds, measured against your target yield. Planting ahead is normal here: tulips go in come October, bare-root roses over winter, dahlias after the last frost, and Grovabe treats a future planting date as the everyday case it is.
Foliage & herbs
Basil, mint, eucalyptus, cut ferns and more — leaf and sprig counts plus harvest weight in grams, so a kitchen-herb bed or a foliage cutting garden gets numbers that actually fit what's being picked.
Houseplants & nursery
Monstera, pothos, snake plants and more — nothing is harvested, so instead Grovabe tracks a simple 1–5 health/quality score alongside light hours and watering given. A living-stock record, not a yield chart.
